M4A1-S | Vaporwave is a Covert rifle skin from the Gallery Case. The “Vaporwave” finish is applied to the M4A1-S. Each unboxing requires the case plus a $2.49 key.

The M4A1-S costs $2,900 and trades the M4A4's fire rate for a silencer and tighter spray pattern. It surged back into the meta in 2021 after a damage buff made it competitive again. Popular finishes like the Hot Rod (full red, Covert rarity) are highly sought after.

M4A1-S | Vaporwave has a float range of 0.00 to 0.60 and is available in 5 wear conditions. In CS2, the float value is permanent — set at drop time and unchangeable. It controls how scratched or clean a skin looks within its wear tier. Extreme floats carry significant premiums: 0.00x copies are prized for their clean look, while 0.999x Battle-Scarred copies like the iconic AWP Asiimov "Blackiimov" are collector's items. Some skins are float-capped and cannot exist in certain wear conditions.
