It fetches live prices from the Steam Community Market, adds the key cost automatically for weapon cases ($2.49 USD), and sums everything up across all the containers you have selected. The result is your estimated total spend.

Select cases from the main page and enter the amount of each case you want to unbox. The total cost will be calculated and displayed. You can switch between cases, capsules, and packages using the filter tabs, search by name, and sort by price or name.

The calculator supports all three container types in CS2. Weapon cases contain weapon skins and require a matching key to open. Sticker capsules contain stickers and most can be opened without a key. Souvenir packages are dropped during Major tournaments and contain souvenir weapon skins with special gold stickers — they also do not require a key.

Weapon cases in CS2 require a corresponding key to unlock. Keys are purchased from Valve at a fixed price of $2.49 USD and cannot be traded or sold on the market. This key cost is automatically included in the calculator when you select a weapon case. Sticker capsules and souvenir packages generally do not require keys, though a small number of older capsules have a nominal unlock fee.

All container prices are fetched directly from the Steam Community Market API. This means you see the actual current market price rather than an estimate or cached value from days ago.

Prices are refreshed approximately every 30 minutes from the Steam Community Market, so they closely reflect the current market conditions. Keep in mind that Steam Market prices can fluctuate between the time you check the calculator and the time you actually purchase, especially during major game updates or tournament events.

Exchange rates are updated every 24 hours. The calculator supports conversion into 160+ world currencies so you can see costs in your local currency.
