Nova | Rising Sun is a Restricted heavy weapon skin from the Fever Case. The “Rising Sun” finish is applied to the Nova. Each unboxing requires the case plus a $2.49 key.

The Nova at $1,050 is a pump shotgun available to both sides. Its $900 kill reward makes it an eco-round money printer — a single kill nearly pays for the gun itself, making it a popular gamble on save rounds.

Nova | Rising Sun has a float range of 0.00 to 1.00 and is available in 5 wear conditions. In CS2, the float value is permanent — set at drop time and unchangeable. It controls how scratched or clean a skin looks within its wear tier. Extreme floats carry significant premiums: 0.00x copies are prized for their clean look, while 0.999x Battle-Scarred copies like the iconic AWP Asiimov "Blackiimov" are collector's items. Some skins are float-capped and cannot exist in certain wear conditions.

A StatTrak version of this skin is available. StatTrak technology uses an LED counter built into the weapon model that tracks confirmed kills in official matches.
