About FAMAS | Decommissioned
FAMAS | Decommissioned is a Mil-Spec Grade rifle skin from the CS20 Case. The “Decommissioned” finish is applied to the FAMAS. Each unboxing requires the case plus a $2.49 key.
Current Steam market prices range from $0.42 to $17.60 across wear conditions.
The FAMAS is the budget CT rifle at $2,050, featuring a unique three-round burst fire mode alongside full auto. It's the go-to buy when the economy is tight but you still need rifle stopping power.
FAMAS | Decommissioned has a float range of 0.00 to 1.00 and is available in 5 wear conditions. In CS2, the float value is permanent — set at drop time and unchangeable. It controls how scratched or clean a skin looks within its wear tier. Extreme floats carry significant premiums: 0.00x copies are prized for their clean look, while 0.999x Battle-Scarred copies like the iconic AWP Asiimov "Blackiimov" are collector's items. Some skins are float-capped and cannot exist in certain wear conditions.
A StatTrak version of this skin is available. StatTrak technology uses an LED counter built into the weapon model that tracks confirmed kills in official matches. StatTrak skins have roughly a 10% chance to drop from each case opening and typically command higher prices than their normal counterparts. Note that the kill counter resets to zero when the skin is traded between players.
As a Mil-Spec Grade item, FAMAS | Decommissioned has a 11.4171% chance per opening (1 in 9). Rarity in CS2 directly affects both supply and price. Higher-rarity skins drop less often, which keeps their market value elevated relative to common drops from the same case.
Prices shown are pulled from 13 marketplaces — Steam, CSFloat, Skinport, Avan.Market, Buff163, CS.MONEY, DMarket, LIS-SKINS, HaloSkins, SkinPlace, MarketCSGO, Tradeit.gg, and WAXPEER — updated every 15 minutes. The Steam Community Market charges 15% total fees (5% Steam fee + 10% CS2 game fee), while third-party sites offer lower rates — CSFloat at 2%, Buff163 at 2.5%, and Skinport around 8% — with real-money cashout options. Beyond wear and float, the pattern index (seed 1–999) also affects price for certain finishes like Case Hardened and Fade, where specific patterns can multiply value many times over.
