UMP-45 | Grand Prix is a Restricted SMG skin from the Chroma 2 Case. The “Grand Prix” finish is applied to the UMP-45. Each unboxing requires the case plus a $2.49 key.

The UMP-45 at $1,200 has the highest armor penetration of any SMG at 65%, making it viable even against armored opponents on force buys. Available to both sides, it bridges the gap between SMGs and rifles on tight budgets.

UMP-45 | Grand Prix has a float range of 0.25 to 0.35 and is available in 1 wear condition. In CS2, the float value is permanent — set at drop time and unchangeable. It controls how scratched or clean a skin looks within its wear tier. Extreme floats carry significant premiums: 0.00x copies are prized for their clean look, while 0.999x Battle-Scarred copies like the iconic AWP Asiimov "Blackiimov" are collector's items. Some skins are float-capped and cannot exist in certain wear conditions.

A StatTrak version of this skin is available. StatTrak technology uses an LED counter built into the weapon model that tracks confirmed kills in official matches. StatTrak skins have roughly a 10% chance to drop from each case opening and typically command higher prices than their normal counterparts. Note that the kill counter resets to zero when the skin is traded between players.
