MP7 | Armor Core

MP7 | Armor Core is a Mil-Spec Grade SMG skin from the Chroma 2 Case. The “Armor Core” finish is applied to the MP7. Each unboxing requires the case plus a $2.49 key.

The MP7 costs $1,500 and offers a balanced SMG option with good accuracy and manageable recoil. It shares a slot with the MP5-SD, giving players a choice between raw stats and stealth.

MP7 | Armor Core has a float range of 0.00 to 0.50 and is available in 5 wear conditions. In CS2, the float value is permanent — set at drop time and unchangeable. It controls how scratched or clean a skin looks within its wear tier. Extreme floats carry significant premiums: 0.00x copies are prized for their clean look, while 0.999x Battle-Scarred copies like the iconic AWP Asiimov "Blackiimov" are collector's items. Some skins are float-capped and cannot exist in certain wear conditions.

A StatTrak version of this skin is available. StatTrak technology uses an LED counter built into the weapon model that tracks confirmed kills in official matches. StatTrak skins have roughly a 10% chance to drop from each case opening and typically command higher prices than their normal counterparts. Note that the kill counter resets to zero when the skin is traded between players.

As a Mil-Spec Grade item, MP7 | Armor Core has a 13.3200% chance per opening (1 in 8). Rarity in CS2 directly affects both supply and price. Higher-rarity skins drop less often, which keeps their market value elevated relative to common drops from the same case.
